The staff is a team made up of Child Development professionals consisting of teachers, teaching assistants, the director, early childhood education interns, a music teacher and clerical personnel. All teachers hold a valid Child Development credential issued by the State of California Commission on Teaching Credentialing, and all are employees of the University of California, Riverside.

          Adult ratios in the classroom follow Title 5 of the Education Code, State of California Department of Education. They are:

                         Infant -- 1:3
                         Toddler -- 1:4
                         Two year olds -- 1:4
                         Preschool (3-5 years old) -- 1:8
                         Kindergarten -- 1:12   

          All teaching staff participate in on-going professional development through attendance at workshops, training and college coursework which are required to maintain and renew teaching credentials.
